Sasha Zolley is an expert in leadership development and cultural change. She has spent 12 years with McKinsey & Company leading cultural transformations, building critical behaviors and mindsets for organizations, and oversaw design, development, and delivery of leadership programs and curricula for companies in multiple industries in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. Sasha earned her JD/MBA from NYU and her B.S. in International Political Economy from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown. She lives in Long Beach, NY with her two sons and cats. The Zolleys enjoy exploring the world—local and international, urban and wild, and always welcome visitors (including incoming campers) to their home.

My CRS Story

My purpose in life is to be an unapologetic harbinger of love and compassion, an igniter of the same in others, to inspire life the way it was meant to be lived—joyously, fully, divinely. It was during my summer at CRS in 1998 that I was not only able to articulate this core aspect of my identity, but got a chance to practice it while trying on community leadership, get feedback on it, feel more comfortable with it—CRS helped me form and feel comfortable being me.

At the heart of my work is helping leaders get closer to their humanity—deepen self-awareness, feel the transformational power of interpersonal connection and compassion, understand the role of psychological safety and how to create it, help themselves and others connect to their purpose. Every day I try to channel the LAJF mission—to develop self-aware, compassionate, community-conscious leaders.
