My name is Bonolo Mashego,I am 15 years old and currently in grade 10 at Maphutha Secondary School.I live in Tembisa, a big township situated in Gauteng South Africa. I live with my grandmother and sister,my parents died when I was two years old.

I am a self-motivated young lady,a hard worker and am very enthusiastic. I have a really strong passion for Cardiology and would like to become a Cardiologist. I value education because I believe  it is important  for everything  we do in life.Education is important because we all have something  that piques our intersts  and sometimes we crave to learn about more certain topics.It teaches us all different  topics we never thought we could learn about.

I am one of the 60 young gifted girls who have been chosen to attend Camp Rising Sun 2017 organised by the Louis August Jonas Foundation in late July in New York City,USA.Ever since hearing about CRS and later been accepted I knew my life would change forever. Going abroad has been a dream of mine like many other children when growing up.This is important to me now because I will be able to understand different cultures and grow to be better in the world because I'll be learning from people from all walks of life.With my belief that experience is the best teacher,I know that this will awaken a fire of the service of humanity in me.

It would be an honour to attend  CRS because I will be representing  my country and it will be a perfect opportunity for me meet people from all over the world and learn something  new.I will really appreciate it if you help me get to the States by donating  money for me and helping me in the most applicable way.
